Mosul Museum

Mosul Museum is founded in 1951; the museum is mainly containing archeological pieces of pre-history of Mosul’s area, as well as Assyrian, Hatra and Islamic civilization periods. On 25 February 2015 ISIS showed a video of how its militants destroying priceless artefacts in the museum.
