من أهم الحضارات في أوروبا بعد الأغريق، إذ كانت تبسط سيطرتها على أجزاء واسعة من أوروبا وبعض دول غرب آسيا وامتدت للمناطق التي تحيط بالبحر الأبيض المتوسط بين أوروبا وأفريقيا.
إذ حكم الأباطرة الرومان من روما مركز الزعامة، كل تلك المناطق وأسسوا جيوشًا كان لها دور في زيادة نفوذ هذه الحضارة العريقة.

It is one of the most important civilizations in Europe after Greeks, as it was in control of large parts of Europe and some countries of West Asia and extended to the areas surrounding the Mediterranean Sea between Europe and Africa.
As the Roman emperors ruled from Rome, the center of the leadership, all these regions and established armies that had a role in increasing the influence of this ancient civilization.

Es una de las civilizaciones más importantes de Europa después de los griegos, ya que controlaba gran parte de Europa y algunos países del oeste de Asia y se extendía hasta las zonas aledañas al mar Mediterráneo entre Europa y África.
