The Ministry of Interior / Baghdad International Airport Immigration and Passports Section has informed us that the practice of granting direct entry visas (on arrival) for citizens of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (5+1), the European Union, and the countries (Australia, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Switzerland, New Zealand) has been suspended.

Instead, the issuance of electronic entry visas will be implemented through the following link: https://eservice.evisa.iq.

Therefore, all travelers to Iraq holding the above-mentioned passports are required to obtain an electronic entry visa to Iraq before their travel.
