Chargé d’Affairs meets with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance representative

In the framework of the embassy’s activities and openness to international institutions with a view to strengthen its cooperation with the organizations on different fields, Chargé d’Affairsو Mr. Pewan Zawitai, held a virtual meeting with Ms. Khameyel Fenniche, the head of the Tunisia Programme at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), on Tuesday 18/10/2022.
The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation and the possibilities of international experiences’ exchange and capacity-building programmed aiming at the strengthening of the electoral and democratic process in Iraq, as well as the mechanism of Iraq’s accession to the institute.
