Calendar of Specialized Exhibitions to be held in Iraqi cities fairgrounds 2023

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Kingdom of Sweden would like to state that the Ministry of Trade / State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services will organize the “46th session of the Baghdad International Fair” under the slogan “The Cradle of Civilizations…Progress and Challenges to Attract the World”, that will be held during the period from 1 to 10 November 2022 on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair. Kindly note that a free wing (9 square meters) in the aforesaid Fair will be allocated for each participant country such as offices for Embassies accredited in Baghdad to have a look at the Iraqi Market and investment opportunities.

The Embassy would further like to communicate that the establishment of this session for this year comes within the framework of the strenuous efforts made by Iraq to consolidate the prospects of cooperation and strengthen the bonds of economic and commercial work between Iraq and the countries of the world, as well as from Iraq’s desire to achieve a comprehensive renaissance in various fields, to strengthen partnership and to build strong economic relations that contribute to maintaining equal cooperation in the interest of all stakeholders. Furthermore, The participants will have the opportunity to meet with the largest gathering of decision-makers, companies, businessmen, trade development bodies, unions and professional organizations, especially as Iraq is on the verge of a major campaign for reconstruction, for which all possibilities have been allocated by the Iraqi government and the international community.
