The Embassy hosts a dinner in honor of the former Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Iraq

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Stockholm hosted a dinner on 25 August 2022 in honor of Ambassador Jonas Lovén on the occasion of the end of his duties as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Baghdad, attended by Ambassador Magnus Hellgren, Head of MENA department at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shoresh Kadir, KRG representative and representatives of several Swedish organizations and institutions.

Mr. Pewan Zawitai, Chargé d’Affairs, expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Lovén’s role in strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Sweden, wishing His Excellency continued prosperity and happiness in his next life path and reaffirmed that Iraq is looking forward to further deepening relations between both countries based on mutual interest.
