Visit to the Diplomatic Institute

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar had a meeting with the Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute Ms. Tanya Mihaylova and experts from thе esteemed  Institute, which took place in its central building.

During the meeting, the forthcoming signing of a final version of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and the Foreign Service Institute to the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs was discussed, as a means and mechanism to promote cooperation between the two institutions. During the meeting the potential dimensions of cooperation that would result from the signing of the Memorandum, as well as the opportunities for exchange of publications and research and joint trainings were discussed .

At the end of the conversation, the Ambassador thanked for the meeting and expressed hope for strengthening the communication between the two countries.
