The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Bulgaria congratulates all mothers in the world in general and specially the Iraqi mothers and women on the occasion of Mother’s Day and Novruz Day- festive occasions that bring with them a bouquet of pleasant feelings and creates a sense of homage to the greatness of women.
We wish love, health, prosperity and wish to express special gratitude and respect to the mothers of the righteous martyrs who gave their lives for our dear homeland.
The Nowruz holiday is celebrated on March 21 of each year. It’s recognized by the UN General Assembly as “International Nowruz Day” – a symbol of spring, joy, struggle, solidarity, brotherhood and peace. This festive occasion carries a message of life and hope, and the fight against tyranny.
