Celebration at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia held a celebration on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state, as well as on the occasion of the Day of the Great Victory over Terrorist Groups. The celebration began with the Iraqi national anthem, followed by a speech by the Charge d’affairs of the Еmbassy, Mr. ​​Mohammed Omer, who briefed the Iraqi State on its succession and spoke of Iraq’s victory over the terrorist groups like the Islamic state( ISIS). The ceremony was attended by the President of the Iraqi Community in Bulgaria, Mr. Maher Hassan, community representatives and a number of other guests.
