Ambassador Lina Omar presented her credentials as a Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Bulgaria

Ambassador Lina Omar, presented on 19 January 2021 her credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Rumen Radev. The ceremony was held in the Presidency Building, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Milen Lutskanov, and a representative of the State Protocol Directorate. The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih, to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Rumen Radev, and the desire of Iraq to build lasting future cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields. For his part, President Rumen Radev affirmed that the Republic of Iraq is an object of great attention from Bulgaria and his support for strengthening bilateral relations. At the end of the accreditation ceremony, a bouquet of flowers was presented in front of The Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
