The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia participates in a charity bazaar

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia participates in the 25th annual Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Club.which was held at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia on 12.01.2019.

Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim, the temporary head of the embassy, ​​attended the official opening ceremony of the event, together with representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps in the Republic of Bulgaria. 

Different handmade products, paintings depicting Iraqi folklore, souvenirs, national cuisine, traditional clothing and more.were presented at the Iraqi Pavilion, which aroused high interest among its visitors .

A group of popular artists arrived from Iraq  to participate in the event, including Mrs. Malak Ahmed Jamel and other artists from the Iraqi Arts Association  in Kahraman.

The organization of the Iraqi Pavilion was coordinated by the third secretary of cultural affairs in the Embassy, Mrs. Zainab Wajeeh Yaseen.

The proceeds from the bazaar will go to charity initiatives in Bulgaria.
