On 28/11/2019, a delegation representing the Iraqi community in Sofia, headed by Mr. Maher Abdullah Hasan, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia.

The Delegation expressed its gratitude and appreciation for the efforts made by the Embassy and  by the representatives of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq to accomplish the procedure of issuing new passports to 46 Iraqi citizens living in Bulgaria through a mobile passport system.

The needs of the Iraqi community were also discussed, which the Head of Mission expressed his willingness to support.
