Meeting of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarka, with representatives of the Iraqi community in Sofia

The Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarka, met with representatives of the Iraqi community living in Bulgaria, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Bulgaria, H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Mubarka reviewed the achievements made in the field of youth and sports and the level of urban development in sports infrastructure in all governorates of Iraq, highlighting the continued positive feedback from the hosting of the 2023 Arabian Gulf Cup Championship in Basra Governorate, and the high international assessment of the level of organization of the event, which is clear evidence of Iraq’s ability to host international tournaments.
The Minister listened to the proposals of the distinguished members of the Iraqi community and expressed his satisfaction with holding such meetings, which deepen communication between the Ministry and Iraqi youth living abroad.
