Visit of the State Council President of and President of the Supreme Administrative Court, Dr. KareemKhamees Khasbak, to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia

The President of the State Council and President of the Supreme Administrative Court, Dr. Kareem Khamees Khasbak, visited the Embassy of Iraq in Sofia, where he met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Bulgaria, H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, and the embassy staff, and was accompanied by Dr. Mazen Lilo Radhi, Member of the Supreme Administrative Court.
The meeting was held within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria in response to an invitation extended to him by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Bulgaria, Mr.Georgi
Cholakov.
Dr. Kareem Khamees Khasbak expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and spoke about the role of the
Council of State in providing legal advice and formulating draft laws and procedures for resolving various
cases.
For her part, Ambassador Lina Omar welcomed such government visits that help develop the level of judicial cooperation between the two countries, especially since this visit is considered a historic visit of this kind, as it is the first visit of the President of the State Council and the Supreme Administrative Court to Bulgaria.
