Meeting with the Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, Senior Commissioner Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Vidolov

H. E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Bulgaria met with the Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, Senior Commissioner Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Vidolov and with the Vice Rector of the Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Simo Georgiev Mihov, at the premises of the Academy in Sofia.
Ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations, opportunities for cooperation, in particular in the field of security between the two countries, were discussed, as well as topics of common interest, among which the main subject was the activation of the training program for Iraqi police officers.
H.E. the Ambassador expressed her satisfaction with the holding of important meetings in the field, in the interest of the two friendly countries, since the Iraqi side expresses its willingness to actively participate in the activities, organized by the academy with the participation of other EU countries, leading to the development of capabilities and the increase on the level of efficiency.
