Award Ceremony of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 On January 11, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, participated in a ceremony awarding the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Khalid bin Kamal Faqeeh, with the Order of thе „Madar Knight“, first class, by the Bulgarian President, Mr. Rumen Radev, which is the highest distinction given to a diplomat. The award is proof of the remarkable efforts for the development and deepening of the bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony took place in the Presidency building of the Republic of Bulgaria and was attended by many Arab and foreign Ambassadors accredited in Sofia.
