Student of the Year 2022 Prize – Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Sofia

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Bulgaria H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar attended the sixteenth edition of the official ceremony for the awarding of the “Student of the Year – 2022” award, which honors the most successful and active students in Bulgaria.
The award was presented by the President of the Republic to Radina Ivanova, a third-year student at the Georgi Benkovski Air Force College.
During the ceremony, the Bulgarian president pointed out that the most important strategic goal for Bulgaria is the development of the youth and that if we do not focus on this strategic goal, all other goals lose their meaning and called on the students not to fall for injustice, corruption and carelessness, which leads to hopelessness.
The ceremony was attended by ministers, the president of the national representation of the student councils, rectors of Bulgarian universities, as well as a number of Ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries.
