The Head of Mission met with the Minister of Interior

H.E. Mr. Mohammed Al-Azzawi, Chargé d’Affaires, met with Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Mladen Marinov on February 14, 2020. During the meeting issues of bilateral interest were discussed as well as the possibilities for development of the cooperation between the two countries. At the meeting, the Bulgarian government’s efforts to support Iraq in the fight against terrorism and in the country’s reconstruction process were evaluated as factors contributing to the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. The meeting emphasized that continued cooperation serves the interests of the two friendly countries.
