Chargé d’Affaires visits the Iraqi School in Sofia

H.E Mr. Jassim Nima Msawil, Chargé d’Affaires en pied visited the Iraqi School in Sofia on 17/10/2019, to mark the beginning of the school year and to get acquainted with the progress made by the students during the studing process.                                 Mr. Jasim Nima also held a meeting with the Headmaster, Mr. Khalil Rashid Al Hamad, in the presence of a number of teachers and discussed with them the difficulties faced by the school management and the condition of the school building. 

Mr. Jasim Nima also met with a number of students to greet them for the new school year and called on them to study and seek and find knowledge to serve their home country of Iraq. During the visit,  it was agreed the embassy to assist the school in finding a separate building by contacting Municipality of Sofia officials aiming to overcome the difficulties encountered by the school’s activities.

 The third secretary responsible for cultural affairs at the Embassy, ​​Ms. Zainab Wajeeh, was also attending the visit.
