Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding

In “Treaties” hall of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute and the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed for the Iraqi side by H.E. Ms. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, and for the Bulgarian side by Ms. Tanya Mihaylova, Director of the Diplomatic Institute to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. The event was attended by Their Excellences the Arab ambassadors, a large number of senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as by experts, academicians and journalists.
The two sides delivered short speeches on the mechanisms for strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and expressed a willingness for development of diplomatic staff in both ministries.
