The Commission for Searching of Kidnapped Persons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq announces the entry into force of Law No. (8), art. (5 and 7), from 2021 for “Yazidi” women, which states that (the search of kidnapped men, women and children, Yazidis, Turkmen, Christians and Shabaks, whose fate is still unknown, is carried out in coordination with the competent authorities in Iraq and abroad, as well as with the assistance of the families of the victims by providing compensations and benefits to them and their relatives based on the act in force).

For this purpose, the electronic form indicated below must be filled out. A hotline has been opened to register missing persons and kidnapped persons, and for this purpose data is recorded and collected, according to the law, to establish their fate with the help of all competent local and international authorities.
