Meeting with the chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, received at the embassy Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Alexander Bozhilov, Head of “International Cooperation” department.   Possibilities for strengthening the economic and commercial cooperation between Iraq and Bulgaria were discussed during the meeting, by activating the Memorandum of Understanding between the Iraqi and Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce. The other topics of discussion were the results achieved by the visits of the Iraqi delegations in coordination with the BCCI in 2023 in Bulgaria, as well as the ways to facilitate the issuance of entry visas to Iraqi businessmen, visiting   Bulgaria..
