H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Bulgaria met with H.E. Mr. Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria during the official celebrations of the National Day of Bulgaria, which took place in the square in front of the “Unknown Warrior” Monument in Sofia on March 3, 2024. During the meeting H.E. Ambassador Lina Omar conveyed the congratulations on behalf of H.E. Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq on this occasion, to the government and people of the Republic of Bulgaria. Among those present at the ceremony were the Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Rosen Zhelyazkov, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Mr. Nikolay Denkov and Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Bulgaria, representatives of international organizations, as well as many citizens.
