Meeting with the chairman of the friendship group Bulgaria-Iraq in the Bulgarian parliament

On 26.01.2024 H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Bulgaria met with Mr. Dzheyhan Hasanov Ibryamov, Chairman of the Bulgaria-Iraq Friendship Group in the National Assembly. At the meeting, which took place in the building of the Bulgarian Parliament, ways to strengthen and deepen the parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries were discussed. The mutual desire of the interlocutors to develop prospectives for cooperation in all areas of common interest was also expressed. The both sides also discussed the embassy’s efforts in cooperation with the Bulgarian authorities to deal with illegal migration, and the positive results achieved by both sides on that matter.
