Meeting with the Director of the General Directorate “Political Affairs” in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 25.01.2024 H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Bulgaria met with the General Director of the General Directorate “Political Affairs” in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Gergana Karadjova. At the meeting, which took place in the building of the ministry, opinions were exchanged aimed at strengthening and developing the prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries. Priority in the conversation was the issue related to the fight against illegal migration and the development achieved as a result of the joint work with the embassy. Ambassador Lina Omar expressed the embassy’s full readiness to provide assistance at the highest level to resolve this important issue in accordance with the current legislation in the both countries.
