Meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Nikolay Denkov with the Ambassadors of the member countries of the League of Arab States accredited in Sofia

On 08.12.2023 H.E. Mrs. Lina Omar, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Bulgaria, participated in a meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Nikolay Denkov, with the Ambassadors of the member countries of the League of Arab States accredited in Sofia, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sofia. During the meeting, proposals to stop the conflict in the Middle East were discussed.For his part, the Prime Minister Mr. Denkov, stated that the Bulgarian side is following with concern the development of the situation in the region and supports the international efforts to prevent the deepening of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The official positions of the Ambassadors of the member countries of the League of Arab States regarding the conflict were also discussed, as well as the need to start work on a vision for monitoring the situation in the region after the end of the Military Operation.
