“Non-Conviction Certificate”
(Requirements for Issuing a Certificate of Non-Conviction Certificate)

Required Documents:

  1. The original passport (Iraqi or foreign) along with a colored copy thereof.
  2. The original Iraqi identification documents (Civil Status ID and Nationality Certificate, or the Unified National Card) along with copies of them.
  3. Four (4) recent personal photographs with a white background.
  4. The issuance of a special power of attorney is required for a person inside Iraq in order to follow up and complete the procedures with the competent authorities.
  5. The personal presence of the applicant at the Consulate is mandatory.
  6. A consular fee of (9 USD) in cash.
  7. If the applicant is a foreigner, he/she shall organize a power of attorney through his/her country’s embassy.
  8. The Embassy shall authenticate the Certificate of No Criminal Record after it is issued by the competent authorities in Iraq.

  10. The transaction shall be authenticated in Iraq by the Ministry of Interior – Baghdad, Directorate of Criminal Evidence – Fingerprint Department.
  11. The transaction shall then be authenticated by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
