Iraq chairs the meeting of the Arab Group at the United Nations in New York
The Permanent Representative, Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom, chaired the meeting of the Arab Group at the United Nations in New York at the level of permanent delegates in his capacity as President of the Arab Group for the month of October 2022
The meeting discussed a number of items of the General Assembly of the United Nations, to come up with a unified Arab position based on the group’s keenness to achieve the goals and objectives of the Charter of the Arab League and the United Nations.
The Arab Group hosted the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to give a briefing on the new draft resolution submitted to the General Assembly on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis
The Arab Group hosted the Brazilian and Argentine candidates for the International Court of Justice, whose elections will be held during November 2022 in New York, to present their vision and answer questions from representatives of Arab countries.
