His Excellency Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm meets with Mrs. Rola Dashti, Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia

His Excellency Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning met with Mrs. Rola Dashti, Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Committee for Western Asia, on the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals for the year 2022

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations in New York hosted the meeting, during which they discussed coordinating regional action and supporting the development efforts of Arab countries to implement the sustainable development goals as well as highlighting the important role of ESCWA in supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government in a number of files, including empowering women, combating poverty and confronting climate changes.
