Permanent Mission participated in the open dialogue session on Financing for Sustainable Development

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations participated in the open dialogue session on Financing for Sustainable Development on Thursday, 28 February 2019. The dialogue was chaired by Ms. Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Ms. Amina Mohammed addressed the importance of reforming the United Nations development system, in response to General Assembly resolution 72/279, and the need for international efforts to strengthen international funding and enhance the funding reality of resident coordinator systems to achieve the United Nations goals for sustainable development 2030.
