Meeting the US ambassador to the United Nations

H.E. Permanent Representative Ambassador Mohamed Ali Alhakim met at the Mission of the Republic of Iraq on Monday 02/03/2015 with US Ambassador Ms. Isobel Coleman, who was appointed last December as an Ambassador and Representative for Management and Reform of the United States to the United Nations.

During the meeting both parties discussed the Iraq – United States cooperation on a verity of technical committees within the framework of the United Nations, with a definite focus on the financial Fifth Committee, as well as the US support to Iraq participation to expand its role in the UN organization through supporting the Iraqi candidates to positions in the United Nations, and its programmes. Lastly, the Permanent Representative wished the visiting guest success in her mission.
