Ambassador Mohamed Hussain Bahr Al-Uloom, Permanent Representative, presided as Vice-President the United Nations General Assembly 73rd plenary meeting to discuss item 30 of the General Assembly, entitled “Space as an engine for development”, held on 26/10/2018, In a high-level presence of Member States.

At the meeting, the draft resolution submitted by Mexico, entitled “Fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space: space as an engine for sustainable development”, was adopted by consensus.
