Permanent Representative meets Mr. Jan Kubić the special representative of the United Nations Secretary-General

On 7/8/2018, The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom met Mr. Jan Kubić the special representative of the United Nations Secretary-General at United Nations headquarter.

During the meeting Mr. Kubić briefed on the latest development in Iraq and the outcomes of his meetings with the political leaders, praising the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq for the timely completion of hand recount of ballots from May’s parliamentary elections in due to diligence, transparency,  and  credibility.

On the other hand, the Permanent Representative stressed that the partnership with UNAMI continues to contribute to the achievement of goals set by the Security Council for the mission, as well as praising the positive role shown by Mr. Jan Kubić in supporting Iraq
