Iraqi PR chaired a meeting of the First Committee on Disarmament and International Security

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq H.E Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Bahr AlUloom, chaired a meeting of the First Committee on Disarmament and International Security on 14 May 2018.

 During The meeting; the members discussed the mechanisms of the Committee, means and approaches related to the revitalization of work of the Committee for future sessions.

 Opinions and suggestions were shared regarding the developing of the methods of work at the committee. The positive aspects that accompanied the Committee work as well as the concerns and obstacles that faced its work were among the discussed subjects.

 The meeting participants praised the professional and effective leadership of Iraq during the presidency of the First Committee.
