Speech of Iraq at the Administrative and Budgetary Committee

The Administrative and Budgetary Committee held its second part of the resumed seventy-second session on 14 May 2018, to consider a number of items related to financing the United Nations budget including article 136 regarding the estimated budgets of the Special Political Missions particularly UNAMI.

The Iraqi PR H.E. Mohammed Hussien Bahr AlUloom gave a speech expressing gratitude to the United Nations Member States for their contribution to UNAMI, underlining the necessity to ensure adequate resources to meet the needs of the Iraqi people in the post-Daesh era and to continue to support the humanitarian efforts in the reconstruction phase.
