Iraq Elected as Vice-Chairman of UNDC

Member States of the UN Disarmament Commission (UNDC) elected Iraq as Vice-Chairman for the commission representing the Asia and Pacific Group during its substantive session that held its meetings for the period of April 6 to24, 2015.

Iraq’s Mission to the UN exerted its utmost efforts that succeeded in occupying the post in line with the Iraqi Foreign Ministry’s orientations to retrieve Iraq’s normal status in the leadership of multilateral meetings and conferences.
