Iraq participates in the high-level event organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime on 25/10/2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations, Mr. Sarhad Fatah, participated in the high-level event organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime on the sidelines of the negotiations taking place on the “Resolution of Human Trafficking to Remove their Organs’ at the United Nations Third Committee.

The Deputy Permanent Representative affirmed Iraq’s commitment to combating human trafficking and strengthening international cooperation to eradicate this phenomenon. He also reviewed Iraq’s most important achievements in combating human trafficking.
