Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, discusses with his Jordanian and French counterparts the holding of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership in its second edition
Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, discussed with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and French Foreign Minister, Mrs. Catherine Colonna, holding the second edition of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, to be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The joint tripartite meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the work of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, discussed preparations related to the agenda and objectives of the conference, which aims to sustain dialogue between the concerned countries, create a state of cooperation and stability in the region, build economic partnerships, and protect Iraq from external threats.
At the end of the meeting, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein suggested to his Jordanian and French counterparts that the conference secretariat, in its second edition, be jointly run by an Iraqi administration.
