Minister of Foreign Affairs meets his Bahraini counterpart in New York

Foreign Minister, Fouad Hussein, met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly/77th session in New York.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Manama, and the importance of upgrading them to meet the interests of the two countries.

The two parties also touched on the situation in the Middle East, especially the latest developments in the region, stressing that more efforts should be made to avoid tensions that affect security and stability.
