The Permanent Representative, Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom, receives His Excellency the Minister of Planning, Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, and the accompanying delegation, at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations in New York.
Where His Excellency the Minister of Planning participates in the meetings of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development held at the United Nations Headquarters under the theme “better Building back after the COVID-19 pandemic, while promoting the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”
Through close cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Planning, the delegation of Iraq will present a comprehensive vision of the challenges of the next stage, especially with regard to climate change, water scarcity, population growth and the labor market, within the framework of the country’s plan for mechanisms to achieve sustainable development goals.
