The Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations meets with Director of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center and his office team

The Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations, Ambassador Mohammed Hussain Bahr Al-Uloom, met with Mr. Jahangir Khan, Director of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center and his office team. During the meeting, several topics were discussed, the most important of which are:
- A number of tracks to enhance cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism
- A number of projects, including the establishment of a national center to combat terrorism
- United Nations efforts to support Iraq’s priorities and future action plan for technical support and capacity-building in the areas of preventing and combating violent extremism, combating terrorist financing, rehabilitation and reintegration, supporting victims of terrorism
