Permanent Mission of Iraq participated in the virtual meeting with Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations

On 2/4/2020, The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations participated in the virtual meeting organized by the United Nations Secretariat, chaired by Ms. Amina Mohamed Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, with the Group of 77 and China (G77 + China). The Under-Secretary-General addressed the necessity of international commitment and solidarity in this crisis to avoid a deviation from the implementation of the UN’s 2020 plan, supporting societies that suffer from weak health infrastructures so that they do not conflict with educational support and women’s support. Also, she called for partnerships at the national and international levels. The virtual meeting included the participation of approximately 122 participants at the ambassadorial and expert levels through electronic technology.
