The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations participated in the eighteenth session on tax issues

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations participated in the eighteenth session on tax issues to achieve the sustainable development goals of the Economic and Social Council for the period 23-29 April 2014.

The session examined the tax issues related to the achievement of financial commitments to finance the plan of the sustainable development and how to invest and use it as key factors for mobilizing domestic resources contained in the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan, the Addis Ababa Plan of Action and the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development. The session also dealt with international tax cooperation, tax in the digital economy, tax exemptions for official development assistance, approved taxes for productive industries affecting climate change and environmental pollution, and tax laws related to productive industries.
