Permanent Representative discuss situation of Iraq at the New York University

Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nation Mohammed Alhakim and Dr. Leslie Gelb engaged in a candid conversation on Iraq in front of a packed room of students and the public at New York University February 26th, 2015. The first half of the discussion broached such topics as why the Iraq-US relationship matters, and what is the strategy to defeat Daesh(ISIS).  The second half was open to the public to engage the Ambassador and Dr. Gelb in a question and answer session. The event was well received as Ambassador Alhakim has made it a priority to meet the public when his schedule allows,  particularly on topics that are of importance to Baghdad and communities everywhere.
