Permanent Representative meets with Mr. Kareem Khan the special advisor of the Secretary-General

On 6/9/2018, Permanent Representative H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom met with Mr. Kareem Asad Khan the Special Advisor of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the Investigative Team to investigate the ISIS crimes, at the United Nations headquarters.

The two parties discussed the latest developments concerning the formation of the investigation team and the results of his visit to Iraq.

Mr. Khan pointed out that the procedures to develop a plan of action for the team is started in order to begin its work in Iraq by October.

From his side the Permanent Representative renewed the support of the Government of Iraq to Mr. Khan for the success of the team.
