Iraq’s participation in the organization of the first event on the occasion of the International Day of Victims of Terrorism

Iraq organized in cooperation with Afghanistan, Belgium, the United States, Nigeria, United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism and United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate an event on the occasion of the first International Day of remembrance of and tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, initiating an international moment of silent in all the United Nations Missions All over the World.

H.E. the Secretary General of the United Nations participated in this event by delivering a speech condemning the terrorism and its crimes and stressing the United Nations sought to pay attention and rehabilitate the victims of terrorism.

The event, also, dealt with the real suffering of the victims including Mr. Hassan Wahab, who reflects the suffer of the Iraqis from terrorism crimes
