The Iraqi Permanent Representative received a group of students of the NDU and CISA
On April 10th, 2018. The Iraqi Permanent Representative received a group of students of the National Defense University and College of International Security Affairs, in the framework of a program which promotes meetings between students and Diplomatic Missions in New York.
The Iraqi Permanent Representative guided the students through an explanation of the various phases of Iraqi political and economic history and its reflections on both the Country and the International Community. The discussion focused also on the development of a democratic system and the strategy to rebuild the State of law and institutes.
At the end of the meeting, the Permanent Representative praised the consolidated relations between Iraq and the US on a bilateral level and the strong co-operation within the UN, on a multilateral level.
