Iraqi PR and New Zealand PR Meet

The Permanent Representative of the Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations Mohammed Ali Alhakim met the Permanent Representative of New Zealand to the United Nations Jim McLay at the Mission of Iraq on 8/13/2014 where the two discussed the latest developments in Iraq.

Additionally, Ambassador McLay congratulated Iraq on the appointment of Dr. Al Abadi as a Prime Minister designate, and asked again for Iraq’s support for New Zealand’s bid for a seat on the United Nations Security Council, which will take place at the end of the year.

New Zealand also reiterated its strong support for Iraq in its fight against terrorism.
