On September 16, 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation, H.E. Haidar Mansour Hadi, met Mr. Habib Abboud Mutashar, on the occasion of his appointment as Iraqi Cultural attaché in the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the nature of the Cultural Attaché work and the ways of supporting Iraqi students studying in Russia and Belarus. H.E. stressed on the importance of the Cultural Attaché role in following up the affairs of Iraqi students studying in various universities, pointing out the need for the Embassy and thr Cultural Attaché to work as a team to provide the necessary services to all Iraqi students by working to increase the number of Russian and Belarusian universities recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to fight the fraud companies that try to blackmail Iraqi students.
For his part, Mr. Habib Abboud Mutashar expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his efforts in supporting the Cultural Attaché and following up the affairs of the students, pointing out to that the efforts of the Embassy will be a major reason for the success of the work of the Cultural Attaché, which seeks to serve the Iraqi students studying in various Russian and Belarusian universities.
