Ambassador meets the Russian Deputy Minister of Interior.

On February 13, 2020, Ambassador Dr. Abdelrahman Hamid Al-Hussaini met Mr. Igor Zubov, the Russian Deputy Minister of Interior to discuss the aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Russia within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Iraqi and Russian Ministries of Interior.

At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador explained the keenness of the Iraqi embassy to develop bilateral relations between Iraq and the Russia in all fields, especially in the field of security cooperation. During the meeting, Ambassador discussed the ways to facilitate the granting of entry permits to Iraqi people who wish to visit Russia and the problems experienced by Iraqi students studying in Russia, the most important of which is to grant entry permits to their families, expressing his hope that assistance will be provided to them by the competent Russian authorities.
